Requirements for explosion-proof diesel engines
Explosion proof diesel engines need to meet multiple requirements in design, manufacturing, and use to ensure their safety and reliability in flammable and explosive environments. Firstly, explosion-proof diesel engines must be equipped with various safety protection devices, including:
*Engine exhaust overheating protection
*Cooling water over temperature protection
*Tail gas water tank water level protection
*Lubricating oil pressure protection
These devices can promptly alarm and automatically shut down when parameters are abnormal, preventing the generation of dangerous temperatures and sparks. Secondly, there are strict temperature restrictions:
*The exhaust temperature at the exhaust port shall not exceed 77 ℃
*The surface temperature shall not exceed 150 ℃
*The temperature of the cooling water shall not exceed 95 ℃
These restrictions are to prevent explosions or other safety accidents caused by excessively high temperatures.
In terms of materials, the manufacturing of explosion-proof diesel engines must meet the following requirements:
*The engine housing shall not be made of aluminum alloy
*Non metallic components should have flame retardant and anti-static properties
*The fuel tank and pipelines must use non combustible materials
*The maximum capacity of the fuel tank shall not exceed 8 hours of fuel consumption
In addition, exhaust emissions must comply with relevant regulations, usually requiring compliance with national, international, or industry emission standards, such as the third stage requirements of GB20891-2014 standard, zoneI, zone II。 Explosion proof certification: ATEX, IECEx and other certifications are required.
The requirements for operation and maintenance include:
*Operators must strictly follow the instructions for operation and maintenance
*When disassembling and assembling the intake pipe, it is necessary to prevent debris from falling in
*The oil pump and speed controller shall not be adjusted without authorization
*The battery needs to be placed in an explosion-proof box
*The starting motor cable needs to use products with explosion-proof coal safety signs
*In terms of usage environment, explosion-proof diesel engines need to operate normally under specific conditions, such as an altitude not exceeding 2000 meters and an ambient temperature between -25 ℃ and 40 ℃. Different application scenarios may have different slope and ventilation requirements.
