What are the requirements for water pump maintenance and inspection?
For maintenance of the pump inspection, there are three key points, the patrol inspection, inspection before
water pump start-up and during the operation.
Patrol inspection:
1) check the pump fuel tank oil level, no jilt oil on both ends of oil casing when running.
2) check whether there is any leaking increase on pump glen.
3) check pump connecting flange, footing and gland have screw loosening or less.
(4) check the abnormal sound and vibration status of water pump in the operation, check the bearings'
temperature, billiard disc is overheating or not, check the pressure and negative pressure of inlet and outlet
of water pump.
(2) before starting the pump: require operators firstly check whether the motor power is connected
well;Motor grounding should be good;Bolts should be no loose;Rotating parts should be flexible, no card
lag.Check the relevant position of the valve is properly, the water pump bearings' oil level and oil is normal,
meter pointer is correct.
(3) In the running of water pump: requirements of operation personnel regularly check the pump and motor
noise, vibration, bearing and motor temperature and lubrication situation is normal;Magnetic starter, knife
switches, all kinds of meter and automation components are without smoking, sparks and overheating.For
multistage axial channeling vane pump, it should be paid attention to checking dynamic status; If deep well
pump, it should be regularly checked the shaft rod without bending. If something happend as belowings, it
should be quickly make the pump stop running.
(1) the pump impeller burst;
(2) the temperature of motor and the bearing rises rapidly, and exceed allowable values;
(3) water pump vibration or move too much, its amplitude and channeling momentum are more than
specified value;
(4)Breaking up of column pipe or absorb pipe.
